Italy's GNA brings the Robinia machine to Berlin
"Clients appreciate the ease of use and maintenance of our machines"
A very important aspect for the customers of a company which manufactures packaging machines and equipment is the ease of operation and maintenance of these machines. "All of our customers have a high regard for the user-friendliness of our machines. Both the operators and the maintenance staff do not necessarily have to be specialists in the use of our machines, and yet we always guarantee to provide after-sales support," explains GNA. "This is especially the case for our customers in other countries. The ability to be remote is a key factor, and to have more autonomy in the management of a machine is a plus."
And this is exactly what the Italian company intends to bring to Berlin, where it will be presenting its latest innovation, the Robinia, a continuous motion vertical packaging machine.

"The latest addition to our portfolio responds to the need for greater performance in productivity, especially in single-reference lines and in the fresh -cut, dried fruit, frozen food and industrial processing sectors," says GNA. "At the exhibition, we want to reach out to customers from the north of Europe, which is a market in which we are already active. We believe that the Robinia could gain a significant foothold throughout the industry. We also want to meet and work with distributors from the USA and Canada, which are markets where we are not yet well established."
The Robinia is capable of producing packaging made of flexible plastic and compostable films, mono materials, laminates, paper (mono version or combined with other materials such as flexible film, cellulose and natural flex, compostable film, pla) and paper+net (also textile). It is suitable for high speed production of packaging up to 350 mm in width.

"The machine can be combined with almost all of the weighing systems that are available on the market today. While speed is always a deciding factor in a customer's choice, it's the performance that must be taken into account. The first thing we always tell our customers or potential customers is that there are a number of variables that have to be taken into account. That is why we work directly with them to evaluate the best solution that is tailored to their actual business needs."
GNA will be exhibiting at Fruit Logistica 2024 (Berlin, 7-9 February 2024) in Hall 1.1/Stand A-41.
